hinges

The problem of hinges for the tympan and frisket frames continues to bother me. There's just not a lot of room to work. But yesterday morning, I remembered that I had built the perfect hinges before. Even written up a web page on the subject. Behold!

I think these will solve most of my problems.

    I saw some interesting portfolios at the art store today which have what looks like a great hinge for a tympan/frisket. I don't know the name for this kind of hinge. It's like the piano hinge I'm using but slimmer.
